Sound familiar?
Most owners we meet aren’t bad with money. They’re just buried. If any of these hit close to home, a 15-minute call will save you months of guessing.
Every month you put it off, catching up gets more expensive and more stressful.
Money moves through the account, but nobody can tell you what you actually kept.
Receipts in a shoebox, deadlines sneaking up, and a nagging fear you’re overpaying.
Hire someone? Raise prices? Buy equipment? You want numbers behind the call, not a gut feeling.
What we do
Whatever you bring to the call — a tax question, books that got away from you, payroll you’re tired of running, or a decision you need numbers behind — it starts the same way. One conversation to work out what you actually need.
If the books are behind, disorganized, or just something you never get to, this is where most conversations start — and where the rest gets easier.
Tatiana works alongside your CPA rather than replacing them. Your books arrive clean, reconciled and organized, so filing is straightforward — and you’re not paying professional rates for someone to untangle a year of receipts.
A clearer view of where you stand, business and personal, and a plan that matches the goals you actually have — not a generic template.
Hiring, pricing, expanding, or just wondering what the business can afford — decisions made against real numbers instead of a gut feeling.
Payroll, benefits, workers’ comp and HR compliance are a full-time job on their own. As a broker for PEO and payroll services, Tatiana compares providers across the market and places you with the one that fits your business and headcount — you’re not being sold one company’s product.
No cost to you. The provider pays the brokerage fee, so the comparison and placement don’t come out of your budget.
Not sure which one you need? That’s exactly what the call is for.
How it works
No sales pitch and nothing to prepare. Fifteen minutes on the phone with Tatiana — here’s how it goes.
We start with brief introductions to understand who you are and what your business or personal financial goals are.
Tatiana asks questions to dive deeper into your situation — whether it’s tax-related, financial planning, business growth, or bookkeeping concerns.
You get an overview of how our services can address your needs, including tax advisory, financial planning, or other relevant services.
We discuss potential solutions, outline next steps, and determine together whether working together is a good fit.
Time set aside for anything you want to ask about the process, pricing, or services — answered plainly.
“By the end of the call, you’ll have a clear understanding of how we can help and what our partnership might look like moving forward.”
Who you’ll be working with
Green Owl Financial is led by Tatiana Galeas, who holds an MBA and is a CTEC-registered tax preparer in the state of California. When you book a call, you’re talking to her — not an account manager who passes you along.
She founded the practice in 2018 to give small business owners something bigger firms rarely offer: books that are actually current, tax guidance before the deadline instead of after it, and a straight answer when you ask “can we afford this?”
Based in Orange County, California, working with clients remotely across the country.
Before you book
It depends on the size of your business and what you need — which is exactly what the discovery call is for. Pricing is one of the things we cover on the call, and you’ll leave knowing what working together would actually cost. The call itself is free.
No — it’s one of the most common reasons people call. Catch-up and clean-up work is a normal part of what we do, and there’s no judgment about how long it’s been. The sooner we look, the less it costs to fix.
Both. Tatiana is a CTEC-registered tax preparer, so your bookkeeping and your tax work stay under one roof — which means nothing gets lost in translation between two providers, and tax planning happens throughout the year instead of only in April.
A PEO — professional employer organization — handles payroll, benefits administration, workers’ compensation and HR compliance for you as a co-employer. It usually starts making sense once you have employees and the admin is eating real time, or when you want to offer better benefits than a small company can typically get on its own. Tatiana works as a broker, so she compares options across providers rather than selling one company’s product — and the provider pays her fee, so the help costs you nothing. If a PEO isn’t the right move for your size or situation, she’ll say so.
No. Green Owl Financial is based in Orange County, California and works with clients remotely. The discovery call is by phone, and ongoing work happens digitally.
Nothing. Come as you are. It’s a conversation about your situation and your goals — no documents, no spreadsheets, no prep required.
It’s a fit call. Tatiana will tell you honestly whether she can help. If she isn’t the right fit for what you need, she’ll say so — you’ll still walk away with a clearer picture of where you stand.
